Named the “ Roar On Highway One", this unique combination of two show events with a week long muscle car cruise in between, proves to break new ground for the often forgotten west coast muscle car enthusiasts where the movement began. Don Johnson president of DJ&F Marketing & Public Relations and long time professional drag racer says “the program has huge potential for local and regional audiences including the hyper active national muscle car market and the entire realm of auto enthusiasts in general.” The first event “All American Muscle Car Review” concourse, now scheduled for late February 2009 at Huntington Beach, CA, the famous ‘surf city’ on Highway One, will include a concourse-like setting for All-American muscle cars, a “Woodie Revival” featuring these iconic So-Cal surfer’s vehicles, and a special section for peddle bikes and cars. All events will boast best-of-show awards including cash prizes. Following the Huntington Beach opening, up to 200 participants will caravan up the famous seaside highway … with a special Time Attack event at Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway for those who wish to test their abilities at one of the most historical road race courses in the world. The main and final event, “ The Roar on Highway One ”, will be staged at the famous Cow Palace in South San Francisco where performance car Shows have a history almost as long as the sport itself.
